OK every one tell us what your favorite road car's are and why. Mine would be the Falcon GT's from the late sixtie's to mid seventie's.....Watching those early Bathurst's as a kid is why they are my pick they were simply untouchable when everything went right for them. The 71 Bathurst got me thinking that i must have one, took a few years before i could afford it but as soon as i could i bought a 1969 XW GT and still own to this day[8D]

Well i have always wanted either a 70/71 XWGT-HO or a 69 Shelby Mustang GT350 (Elenor)
My Daily driver is a 2002 T3 TS50, thats such a magic car, it still has the rough tough personality of an old GT, but with a bit of refinement
Ahh so much to choose from
Might have to upgrade to a DJR320 soon tho

easy one. 1967 shelby GT500 or even the 1968 GT350 would be enough for me. I thought eleanor in the original GI60S was a 71 mach 1? or are you taking about the remake?

Back on home soil thought phrase 3 for sure, pity it's not a road car though.

Ok I have been hanging to say that two of us were lucky enough to have a drive in one of the prototype DJR 320kw falcons - and it truly is an amzing piece of machinery, but my Favourite road car would have been my old XB V8 Falcon that some mongrel stole way back in 1986.

My very own XD Falcon probably quicker then Dick's in a strait line but not round corners even if I could steer like him

my neighbours had one a few months ago and i thought it would have been MAD to own and do up, if i only had some cash i could have bought this XM falcon. anyway, theres plenty more cars on the road than just that...

xw or xy gt for sure. i watch them run in the historics and cream every time. i have been in a restored xy that was very fast, now i want my own. other than that, my 97 rx liberty is mighty fine to drive and i used to own a hz 5spd 253 stationwagon that i adored. a 550 maranello would'nt go astray either. ( there is a blue one on the back of feb's f1 racing mag ), but i'll have mine in a crimson red.

Grab a 69 'Stang with a current 290 Boss in it with a Tremec or Hollinger 6 speed behind it, paint her R-E-D, like that old thing of Moff's, and hand me the keys!

Favourite Falcon? - AU2, AU3 XR8 220. It had the power to match the commodore Gen 3[:0], drives better than a SS and the sound from the exhaust is a beauty too:). It was cheaper than the T series:), is cheaper to run than a WRX[:0], could seat 5 with plenty of room[^] and I really love the styling inside and out:D.
Favourite road car- I dare not say a Mclauren F1[:X]!

The VN Holden Commodore Group A was something special. It was super fast of the day, remember that there was no turbocharged fast fours from Japan back then to compete. It was also cheaper than the Europeans cars like the Ferrari 328s or the Porsche 911s and basically the Holden was close if not closer in matching the performance of the big name Euros and we all know the VN was significantly cheaper to purchase. It's like the WRX of he 80s. It's bodywork capture the hearts of many (or myself) and even came with a 6 speed manual when many other cars were using 3 speed auto! There's none of those lack of bottom end grunt found in many late model holdens and HSV's with the (US imported) GEN3 - the VN Group A simply pulled anygear without fuss! It was a pure Holden sports sedan through and through and a classic.

The VN is quite possibly the ugliest car Australia has ever produced... I try not to be bias, and anyone that says the EH, VL or VT Holdens are not good looking cars are kidding themselves, i reckon, but that VN..... ugh.....

My Pick would have to be a pursuit ute, or the typhoon, the only thing that stops me from going with the XD-XE is the door handles. And by the way, the true Ellenor was a 73' Mach one mustang, yellow and black, as they said in the movie, "the last of the real mustangs" with copies of the original movies dvd's costing only $10, put up with the dodgy acting and enjoy H.B.Hablickis finest. Mind you, heaven forbid if I had to look outside the blue oval, one of those (69' I think) Dodge "Daytona" Chargers, the ones with the pointy nose cone and the huge rear wing made for NASCAR, If you could get me one with a 426 hemi and 4spd pistol grip, I would be much obliged.
