So, as we all knew, today confirmed that this year DJR will be fielding 4 cars in the V8 Supercar Championship.

So.. who will our enduro drivers be?

Lets see who is available;

Alex Davison - unlucky not to be in a full time seat.. yet..
Warren Luff - mooted to turn up at 888 with Craig Lowndes
Andrew Thompson - has previous DJR links
Bargs - no thanks.. will more than likely end up at LDM
Dave Russell - a good steerer, but will probably show up again this year with the Kelly's
David Besnard - unlikely after last years disaster
Paul Morris - probably with Owen
Patrizi - will no doubt bring cash
Tim Blanchard - solid

Who's left? one feels we need to act fast.

I think Bezzy will be back regardless. Patrizi is looking like getting the second seat at Tekno, Luff is all but confirmed at 888, likewise Bargs at LDM. I think Alex will end up driving with his brother. Paul Morris would be likely alongside Owen. Doesn't really leave many does it? Maybe time to do a Gaz and look o/s?[sh]

Probably some young females attracted to things that look good and shiny, especially if the cars performance doesn't improve in the opening rounds of the year :p

I would like to see Bezzy back in car 17 with Steve. I dont think last years bbq was all his fault.
If we can put together a quick car (not last years set up) Steve and Bezzy would be a fair shot at the podium.

No thanks. Apart from the bbq he was consistantly 2-4 seconds a lap slower than Steve each stint. That's a lot in todays racing. I had high hopes for the pairing going in to the race even with our setup issues (I was out the back doing a rain dance). It became clear in his first stint that he had no pace. Having said that I don't know who else we could get?

May find that if dates dont clash that Joey Hand and Dirk Muller may get a look in as they where both thought of very highly by those that matter. [drive]

S**T i didnt realise he was so much slower, just goes to show why the well funded teams put their endurance drivers into the development series.

Maybe JB would play good back up to Steve, would be great to see the Johnson Bowe on the window....................although hes probably not as sharp as he once was, still quick but may not have the last few tenths required

Is Dumbrell or Luff going to 888????

Dean Canto is not going back to FPR so he is available. Although word at the end of Bathurst was that he had already signed for someone with an out clause if he could get a full time drive...

As is usually the case with Roland, he grabs the most recently experienced as endurance drivers. Luff/Loundes, Dumbrell/Whincup

As much as I love JB, geez if we are talking about him as a co-driver at Bathurst then we already have no chance of winning

But then seriously, before the season even starts 1 or 888 are a lock to win Bathurst

Ok talked to my source again and he says that SBR had made a very good offer for canto but Rod Nash came back and topped it. I get the feeling that deano may be a fall back if he cant get reynolds out of his contract with the kellys.... but hey what would I know[sh]

Speedcafe has reported that Alex Davison will be with Moff, Matt Haliday with Fiore, Allen Simonsen with SJ and Paul Morris with Steve Owen

What do you guys think?

Good, good, should be a local, and for farks sake.

Thats what I was thinking about the last one as well. The other 3 I don't have a real problem with tho with Simonsen I never really looked at it as local or import, more the best person for the job
