Has anyone else noticed there has been a discount on pricing for merchandise on DJR's website? Perhaps another new range is coming for 2007?

Cheap merch before Bathurst, selling Greens Tuf???(I really hope thats BS), I don't like this....

I'm learning to really dislike this part of the year. 2004, 2005, & 2006 DJR and us had to endure this speculation. How on earth teams that can't get into the top 10 can constantly retain sponsor backing yet for DJR, life isn't so easy. Surely sponsors out there can see how this team is improving making them an attactive team to get behind.

I hope its just BS.

Seems very strange that the merchandise is selling so cheap going into the biggest meeting of the year, the same thing happened this time last year.

The word that i`m hearing is that DJR are having cash flow problems and they are cutting back $$$ where ever they can.

Oh dear............Although I don't believe to much BS on the 10 10th's site, especially when it comes to DJR as they are a very anti-DJR site.

Doesn't make sense why they would bring Adrian Burgess over here if they were pulling the plug next year. Doesn't make sense to me, especially with the recent pace of the DJR cars in recent rounds.

Hopefully it's the other rumour that was in MS News recently that Shell would be back next year. One can only hope!!!

I'd put my faith in them too. But don't miss an opportunity to grab some cheap merchandise while you can!

Hmm - all a lil disconcerting - HOWEVER, The Mountain Beckons no matter what happens next year, and I reckon 17 might just bring home the bacon this time round.

I've heard a few things. Beejay talked to Jnr at the mountain and he said something along the lines of 'new go-fast bits and a big money deal next year'

Also heard that Shell are coming back. That would be nice. Make all my Shell Helix Racing hear wearable again.

All we need is to resurrect FAI and I can dust a couple off too!

Could be worse, at least nothing I have has Palmer Tube Mills on it...

Henry,i would have thought most DJR fans from the early days would have to have a Palmer Tube Mills Greens Tuff Flag in their collection.

Unfortunately thats what we have been hearing for the last few years, at least since the BA made it's debut...
The Revamped team then had a deal with more money, the westpoint deal (did they actually ever rcieve funds from westpoint?) was again with more money for more development, and the self funding thing again told us they would have more money for technical development

I can't help but wonder if some of the high profile guys who have left over the past few years has been because they just couldn't afford to pay them enough to hang onto them.

I hope something comes through for them, they've shown flashes of brilliance at times in the last few years, and as far as I can tell it's only a lack of solid funding that has stopped those flashes turning into continued strong results. It's actually a bit worrying that they can put Steve in the top 10 in the championship on what seems to be a underfunded team, but they can't attract the backing they need to convert the promise they show.

I also hope dick has a buyback option on the cars he sold to the bowdens, he let them go for a comparitive steal IMO. At least we know they'll be looked after just as well if not better now anyway.

I was only a dirt poor country kid - I had to paint the school flag green so I had a flag...
