Im going to the Gold Coast for a week in January, just wondering how big an effort it is to get from there to DJR?

Bus, Train, Hire a car... or is it way out of the way?

Dont know QLD at all... smells funny and too many red heads. Good spot for a holiday though

We went to the teammates night in July (mexicans , Box Hill Vic)
I had a hire car and GPS and drove straightup the M1 Motorway took about 30-40 minutes and DJR HQ and museum is about 5mins off the motorway. "Ken" the gps got me right to the front door.
You can get buses and the sky train as well apparently.
Also its about 20 mins past Dreamworld/Warner Bros Movie world if you have any Ruggies. :D

Cheapest way from the Goldy would be to train it and then cab it or if you already have a hire car it's only 20 minutes up the road

Get on a train up to Beenleigh station from the Goldy Mitchell. From there, I will pick you up and we will do a tour of DJR, SBR and PCR if you want.

Cheers
John

Check your date![:0]

Check your dates when you will be up here. DJR shut down over the Christmas break - usually until 2-3 weeks into the new year.

BTW if the timing is right, we could arrange a group of us to do a Club17 visit and workshop tour?[sh]

A Club17 workshop tour sounds like a good idea. I forgot about the workshop shutting down over Christmas - New Year.

Still, it could be worth going if you're coming to the Goldy, I think the doors are open to the museum and merch shop, but no workshop tours or activity.
