Absolutely awesome DJR. I was one very proud DJR fan at EC yesterday & as someone esle mentioned, it's great to say it wasn't a lucky win & was totally won on merit. Bloody fantastic!!

The reference to Ashley topped it off Will. Very proud DJR fan after a very long drought & to be achieved at what is usually our bogey track made that $8 Jimmy taste even sweeter.

Lets keep it going guys..

Awesome, just awesome. Great effort by the entire DJR team, and Will. Was poetry in motion. I may have even shed a slight tear. Lets hope the next one isn't that far away.

Congratulations to Will and the team at DJR, the hard work and belief has paid off. The team has been on the verge of this for a long time with signs of good car speed at the end of last season and I was so glad to be at the track to see the teams first race win in 7 years.

I was in the merchandise area after race 2 and the crowd of people that were buying DJR/JBR gear after the win was quite a site. Comparatively you could have fired a canon through the SBR annex and not hit anyone. It was good to see some fan interest in the team and the flow merchandise dollars will be put to good use. However I couldn?t help but feel a little bitter at the way in which these people move from team to team. These are the same people that once wore DJR/Shell clothing before moving onto Tickford and to Pirtek, Caltex, FPR and most recently Triple 8. The word loyalty does not seem to hold any meaning to these people and part of me feels that they shouldn?t be allowed, that they are in some way invading my space and trying to take something that is privately mine from me and share in it as if their buying a shirt makes up for their desertion.

That is why I would like to offer my congratulations to the members of this site. You are the true supporters that resisted the mass exodus of fans during the 7 year drought and have been unwavering in your support. Stick your chests out with pride and know that the people that surround you here know that you never left.

You're right, and i think Dick recognises the fact that his fans , the die hards, the true believers, are the most loyal and ardent fans in the series, but It will be a boon for the Teams coffers if merchandice sells well, so I accept the blow ins and the money they bring.
