How good was that

Well done Chaz and well done DJR even though your GM spent the day in another teams pit

What a great moment for Chaz and DJR! Made sure I recorded the last few laps so I can watch it again tonight. Did anyone else notice Dick flipping the bird at the podium presentation? As if to say get that up ya!

McConville's reasoning was that a two place grid penalty was all that was required for Lowndes as it was a very minor breach.

Kelly should have got to start from the rear of the grid, 25 point penalty for that halfwit has no effect on him as he's next to last anyway.

Na start from pitline!

What a great weekend at QR, top result for Chaz and DJR.

But what pissed me off about the weekend was that every support categories ended up being a timed race rather than completing that laps required. Now I can understand this if time constraints force the issue but why don't the get rid of the Formula Ford for a start and increase the laps for the support categories that can actually field a grid of more than 13 cars.

But the biggest issue I had was they spent 40 minutes giving people rides in the safety and support cars on the Saturday. I don't pay money to see the wealthy or lucky buggers going for rides whilst they shorten actual races of any category. Do the bloody rides after the last race.[bgn]

Couldn't agree more , both the Aussie cars and the development series had like 30+ cars, would much prefer to see longer races - and I am sure some of the drivers who have come here from other states would prefer a longer run to make it worthwhile

If they eased up on taking each other out, there'd be less likelihood of lap reductions... although the delay to the starts on Sunday were a bit of a gyp... on the other hand, the race officials did their best to mitigate that, leaving a car on the outside of T2 with local yellows rather than safety car intervention...

I didn't think Casey was that much of a sook,. . . sure he got turned around,. . . but lets face it that doesn't happen if you're up front does it.

He's got the best car in the field and I think he's dissapointed in his own performance, since on paper he should be picking this up faster.

I was hoping he wouldn't be another gardner,. . .but . . . . .sigh,. . . .he might be.

I know Chaz is on loan ( or whatever) from FPV,. . . .but was anyone else disapointed to see him run over to FPV first

I hope Ford has him locked in,. . . those Holden poachers have just grabbed recent FPV engineer back ,. . . .i'd imagine Chaz will be on the radar if he gets a couple more good runs this season.

No not at all because if you look closely at the time he runs over to the crew they are all FPR. None of the DJR crew were there at that moment. Happened right in front of me.
