2 Poles for the weekend and some good top ten results. Ahead of where I expected the team to be! Go you good things![bw]

I feel Courtney was hard done by, . . he didn't look to be much further over that kerb than most of the top ten, . .

But, . . way to show 'em who's boss, . .

those stadium trucks do not do the first half of the field any favours with all the dirt and rubbish thrown up on the track . . . Scott looked quicker than his result as well but for some sliding on dirty track, I reckon he would have up a couple of spots at least, . .

Well done Team, the cars this year look great and seem to have the goods, . . now if we can translate that to a result. . . [y][y]

I expect Roland has not finished with this matter, especially after he got his team in for the fuel, only to have the race called before they could use it.

Why wouldn't Roger just pull the plug on this debacle of a series? It's an embarrassment!

Every time I heard Schenken on the radio, he stuffed-up & had to correct himself -eg.
- On the restart, calling for #97 to maintain 80kph instead of #12
- Telling the cars to file into the pit & stop in the fast lane, but instruct the SC to stop at the front of the grid (sorry... front of pit lane)

Hopeless !!

So has the 30 second penalty been revised up to 60 to avoid repercussions from the start where some fueled up in what was in essence a period between the start and a re start, so before the race had started, which might be interpreted as being NOT a pitstop ? . . ??[bgn][bgn]

I imagine several people have read through these rules and maybe others several times trying to take in what happened today, and how that panned out for us in particular with our serendipitous positions on the track when the race was called. I'd say the race was stopped more because of power problems than the condition of the track, especially in light of the TV coverage which had minimal after race coverage despite it ending very early and then cut to some cooking show without the usual post mortem and back slapping for their own expertise and predictions of who would win. . .
