Clipsal 500 - practice and qualifying

#17 was pretty strong throughtout practice to eventually end up 9th fasted ( 1.23.70 only) .42 of a second of the fastest time. Steve J was consistently fast from the get go and was even P1 at early on.

Seto was a different story, eventually ending up 30th with a 1.25.19, only 1.90 seconds of fastest. He did make a few trips to the pits, so i hope just going through the sorting of the car.

Go #17 in the next practice and qualifying

you bet, he was fast out of the gate and remained in or around the top ten for the whole of practice. He went quicker each time out of the pits. Lets hope the DJR New Tyres problem doesnt raise its head again, and they get real gain on the new tyres. Maybe Seto can have some input ???

#17, 9th fastest in second practice. Which is a great result, lets see some improvement in qualifying. Seton 1.23.61, in 21st position but at the end of the session he started to get much much better.

This is not as good as the broadband coverage that i just got at home but the PS2 timing is well worth the $25 per year.

Geez I hope he can heep it in the 10 for the next one. Big improvement by Seto as well..

It has happened again !!! great practice and disappointing qualify.
#17 is 13th and #18 is 24th. It looks like steve pitted and then came out and did only one flying lap at the end before the session ended, i hope this wasnt a team mistake as he was getting faster as the session went on.

Seto has gradually worked his way into a decent pace, only 1.22 seconds off pace when he was 2 and a bit off at the end of practice 1.

What is wrong with Seto... My god, have a bloody go would ya!!! I see no reason why #18 should be 11 places behind #17!!

Heres hoping race pace is much better for tomorrow.

And how lucky was Jnr at turn 8?? I just 10 news & he come out side ways & just skimed the outside wall & then coming across & just hitting the inside wall!!! Very very very lucky..

Seto was getting faster through the practice and then qualifying, its a new car and new team bla blah blah. They have better race pace, 13 is a good start for Junior. I will need to watch late news for the Junior incident

I'm not going to bag Seton but the 1.23.4 is just not good enough considering that Dean Canto also did a 1.23.4 in last years BA with that extra 100kg on board.

Hope he races better than he qualifies..

New colours, new name, a new driver, same drama on green qualifying rubber. 13th not too bad but right in the mix for trouble, hope he gets clear of Dumbrell before mayhem. Hate to say it but It doesnt look like to much has changed. Less said about Seto the better. On the bright side the beer fridge is still full.
