I just hope we can run 2 cars next year, Im over this sharing Tekno's pit boom bull****.

I can see this cruelling us at Bathurst, seems to be around 8 stops each year and we are guaranteed to get shafted at least once.

[h=1]Super Black Racing confirmed for 2016[/h]

The New Zealand Super Black Racing team boss Tony Lentino today announced that they will be on the grid line up for the 2016 V8 Supercars championship.
“While I am looking to slow down and make the most of life with my wife Emily and our two young daughters, I have committed to the Super Black Racing family that they will be racing in 2016.”
“It is important to give young kiwi drivers an opportunity in the V8 Supercars Championship and a chance to mix it up with the big boys. The 2015 year has been a fantastic start for the team with Andre (Heimgartner) providing lots of thrills and plenty of reason to back black.”
Lentino hopes that Super Black Racing will be a long-lasting team encounter in V8 Supercars and is launching a Super Black Racing Foundation early next year, in which will become the funding are of the organisation.
“The SuperBlack Racing Foundation will protect and support my vision for a New Zealand team taking on the Aussies in the V8 Supercars Championship into the future. Former V8 Supercars driver Paul Radisich has been thanked by Tony Lentino for the huge involvement into the new team and for being a mentor towards Andre Heimgartner.”
“His knowledge and expertise has been invaluable to get us this far. While Paul won’t be carrying on with Super Black in an official capacity, he will always be one of the people that believed in, and delivered, a kiwi V8 Supercars team.”
The team are currently finalising details of the Racing Entitlement Contract with V8 Supercars and the team drivers for 2016 as well as preparing for the Bathurst 1000 next week.

I would suspect they have some deal with V8SA to get a REC other than the current one , . . . I'd hope

That did cost the team a better result at Sandown too.

I don't understand the sharing of pit booms at a place like Bathurst, with 25 cars there are enough garages and pit lane space for every car in the field to have its own boom.

Interesting if they were running 1, 2 into the last stop and it was a a safety car.....

2nd Erebus REC [sh]

Thats what I am hearing. Some of you guys may know but who in the team does Mr Davison have a business relationship with? It was mentioned that he might be trying to leverage off that for the second seat as Erebus are downsizing and he has the option to leave ala Lee Holdsworth.

Interesting trip to Bathurst this year. Found out lots of interesting information,

Spoke to a few people and managed to extract the following

PRA Team Principal: will DJR Penske run 1 or two cars next year................1,
Brad Jones Racing owner: Fabian is 100% going to DJR team Penske next year (even though some people at DJR wish to say it is not correct)
James Moffat mummy: Tim Slade is set to replace Coulthard, Moffat still no deal in place

Good to have this confirmed so early, didn't think Scotty would be there next year but glad he will be in #17 again.

that is great news. 2 very competitive drivers who will be able to push each other. I think Pye deserves his seat it after all the effort he has put into into moving the car forward. its a pity about Ambrose but it looked like the fire had gone. Maybe be wrong tho
