Hey guys, I have a tricky one for you.
A mate, who works for Biante, has contacted me with the following request:
Hey quasi
Got a work related question for you.
Can you remember or actually have a version of the 1981 Bank of queensland logo that adorned the driver and passenger side door of Dicks XD falcon in its ATCC campaign? The logo sits above the racing number.
Here is a link to a thread I have started to try and find it but we are stuffed on the green section.
I have a full page advertisement in the 1981 'Australian Motor Racing Yearbook' congratulating Dick on winning the ATCC, and that is one of the few pics NOT from Bathurst. However, even scanning the ad at high res, I can't quite make out what it says exactly.
Failing that, I tried to take a digital pic of it, but same problem. About my only hope now is to pop into DJR and see what shots he has in the museum of the car in ATCC trim, not James Hardie 1000.
I've even run multiple online searches for that logo, but to no avail. Does anyone have any descent pics of this part of the car at all.
Cheers
