Sports Betting Has Ambrose ahead of Montoya [bw]

Good luck tonight Marcos and all the best for the season ahead, stay in front of Montoya and pick up some podiums.

Great to have you back in a Ford! [bc]

Also, all 3 Nascar races (Trucks, Nationwide and Sprint Cup), are Live on Speed Channel this weekend. With the Sprint Cup also a Hotpass event (4 incar carmeras to choose from).

It was like he had the plague - no-one seemed to want to help. At least it appears that he and Ragan will team up for the big race; they've been practising together and it's a bit of a bonus that they get on well.

Marcos Ambrose has just proven how good he is with his first NASCAR Sprint cup win at Watkins Glen.

Well done Marcos...[bw][bw]

I'm glad he won.
I got up for the race at 2:00am Monday morning and waited and waited ...
Finally got back to bed at 3:00am this morning - haven't done that sort of thing since Adam was a boy!!
For a while I thought Busch's strategy was going to pay off and I was getting worried.
Just shows what can happen when the Gods align!
Some big crashes (more safety barriers on the way) and that yellow and black Ford was quick all day.
Great win!! [sc]

An awesome drive by Ambrose to go to victory lane at the Glen ! Hopefully this is just the start of something big ! How happy was his crew chief Todd Parrott ?

Great result for Ambrose, good to see it was in a Ford as well. Boris Said made me laugh with his comments after the race, he kind of reminds me of Paul Morris the way he says what he thinks.

He's done it again at Cicuit Jaques Villenue.

Started last and finished first

man i wish he was still over here.

He'd have a Bathurst and a couple of more championships by now

I was at the Indianapolis race a few weekends back. I was surprised at how much fun it was. A totally different experience to the V8Supercars, but wow they fly past pretty damn fast!

Oh, and yeah Go Ambrose

That's assuming that he would have stayed with Ford, the guys that have left for money have seen it as too big an incentive not to leave, imagine what they'd be offering Ambrose, . . .. .... spud's head on a platter, unlimited wealth, . . . . . . . and the number two to Tander at hrt spot . . . . . [crackup][crackup]

Well TS he would have had 5 years to win before Holdens cheque book racing program started.

Ringall wouldn't have won in 05 as Marcos would have had his head where it needed to be rather than trying to sort the shift to the states.

SBR wouldn't have lost their way with car design and set up.

Ingall was useless engineering and sorting the car.
When courtney got away from Ringalls set up SBR moved forward.

I have no doubt that Ambrose could have won a lot more if he stayed

WOW What a race

Not sure if anyone watched the Bud shootout today but another stellar run by Marcos . Almost won but was overrun on the last lap by Stewart and Busch. If this is the standard of racing in Nascar this year I am going to be watching a hell of a lot more this year.

It was excellent!
He slipped under the radar of the commentators again and was very unlucky not to win. Brad Keselowski needed to stay around just a bit longer.
