Bad luck to Steven & Warren, it was mostly a case of wrong place & time for steven after the pileup.[V]

The only way is up. :)

Yeah... haven't actually sat down and watched Race 2 yet (taped it), but Steve's weekend was a bit like you say fordlover. Seems a real shame, as the car is showing promise... onwards and upwards boys, we appreciate your efforts, and feel for you.

Well a question here
the crash that happened 11 laps before the end, happened due to the fact that field was all compressed due to the safety car being put out on the track. Tratt caused most of the problems. But my real question is, why was the safety car put out there? All cars that had problems, had cleared themselves before the safety car was put out, therefore was the safety car just put out to make for a closer finish (Ambrose was over 13 secs in front by that stage) If that was the reason, then I find that disgusting,=. So much for the safety car, it actually caused an accident that could have hurt someone, and ended up costing a lot of dollars. Was sorry to see both Steve and Luffy fall foul of th same corner (Turn 11) more concentration guys. Best news of the weekend tho was the poor showing of Team Skaife, how awesome.

yeah i can't work out the safety car either, they do things like that in nascar to make the racing more interesting, but our guys arent forever turning left.

you could tell dick was annoyed, although he didnt show it in his face, his body language read "IM REALYY PI@#*D OFF", the good thing to come out of this weekend is the showing of Owen Kelly in the Konica races.

And the fact that DJR actually had good car speed when they werent damaged.

Hi guys, I agree that the weekend was one of ups and downs, and Owen was a standout, yet lets not forget Warren Luff - in the deepend well and truly yet, aside from his one indiscretion, he performed faultlessly.

Luffy showed his class yet again; for my money he's a future star of the sport, he shines in just about everything he steers - including the 18 Falcon!

did anything happen to bright over that incident with Warren?? (penalty, fine etc)
No but he should have got a drive trough.
Dumbrell lost 75 point's and got a $10000 fine.If it was me i would have given him a 3 month suspended sentence to go with it.

i cannot understand how bright didnt get a drive thru, no where near the b pillar, mind you he got no penalty last year either at Philip Island when he took Ambrose out. Seems to be a different rule for the Holden Racing Teams

i dare say bright was left unpenalised due to the deflated tyre he suffered as a result of the move. if he had come out clean and received no penalty that would be a different story. i agree though, he did deserve one.
