C'mon as far as scapegoats go, Bargs is possibly the most deserving of being toppled from his ivory tower. The rules he had to work with may not have helped, but whats the bet he had a fair say in the introduction of those rules in the first place.

Not helped by the fact that the vocal public who force rulemakers into kneejerk after kneejerk are colourblind to their favourite team/driver/brand/anyone but whincup (strike out as appropriate) and still believe in the B pillar rule which hasn't existed since Noah played fullback for Jerusalem and itself is largely to blame for the dive bomb nature of a lot of manoeuvres we see today, especially in lower classes (and guess where those drivers are all aiming to be).

It's a tough job, all the replays and data in the world will not tell you what a driver was really thinking at any given moment, if anything (looking at you Garf) and after a days reflection the drivers story often becomes a version unrecognizable from the original as they work to justify it in their own minds.

Till you make everybody operate on a shoestring with limited resources and no team to swarm over their cockup and fix it for them, or put the fear of god into them knowing that the bloke they wronged yesterday will have their own back at some time 6/12/18 months from now and I don't know when it is coming (or both) you will never make everybody happy with the system.

In the meantime, removing an element which has introduced a lot of the inconsistency (perceived or otherwise) can only serve as a factor of improvement. Hopefully.

Test Day

Is there any in the know whether the team will be having a test day at QR before the season starts?

So far it only seems like there is a ride day planned, apart from the eastern creek optional/compulsory closed test day

Thank you, I already knew about that one, I see Ryan has updated on DJRTP Team Mates forum too. Is anyone on here heading out to spectate?

Gut feel says something like #3, expexting something predominantly red.

Team mates should have an email confirming co drivers too. Nothing unexpected and should be 2 good strong combos especially with the revamped engineering group having had a chance to make their mark by enduro time [drive]
