Luffy and Denyer in car 18 at Bathurst.

Is that finalised Poita?
I think the 777 car is a big chance for the grid come Bathurst too (and I am sure Crimsafe would like Denyer in their car.!?)
As long as it is a Besnard free zone![hb]

I heard a whisper yesterday at the track that Besnard was joining DJR for the enduros alongside Courtney. The bloke said he knew someone that works with Besnard.
A little while later whilst getting Dick's signature Besnard came up to Dick and said he would catch up with him sometime soon.
I hope that Poita's prediction is true though.

No problems with Denyer and Luffy, but pair up junior and Courtney. I want a Bathurst win!!!!!!

QUESTIONS
So whats the deal with the 'top' Fujitsu cars entering Bathurst? Is this true?
The Bathurst round is also a round for the Fujitsu series.
Does that mean these cars have to choose whether they race in the Supercars or Fujitsu series for the Bathurst round?
(I know that the drivers can double up, but the cars cant!!!)

Is a drive in the 'big show' worth the possibility of losing the Fujitsu series?
What does it mean for the top fujitsu drivers (eg. Steve Owen - who I hear will be driving for HRT in the enduros) - drive for a 'main game' team or drive their own car which they are familiar with.
Okay I need to lie down now my head is sore....

Maybe Bezzy is a back up for Denyer, if his back problems persist until september he may not be fit to do the kind of stints that will be needed to compete. I'm not saying he won't but maybe just in case, 33+ laps around Bathurst must be pretty tought on someone with an injury.

Johnson - Denyer and Courtney - Luff sounds like great combonations

I think it's more likely to be Johnson-Courtney or Luff, Johnson-Denyer would be near imposible.

Can you imagine the size of the seat insert! Steve has got to have a foot and a half on him. [sa]

Bezzy was handing out brochures at the SBR 3up Ride car on Wednesday. I am not sure if that means he is just SBR's 3up driver or he has a deal with SBR for the enduros this year too. Luffy was hoping to get a run in one of the new FG's, but The Team were way behind in their testing schedule and he didn't get a chance sadly.

I Agree with Jaguarstd about 777 being on the grid for Bathurst and does this bring Owen back into the line up? Yes! Yes! Yes!..3 Djr cars on the grid for the enduros...I`de love to see that.

You wont see Steve Owen in a DJR car anytime soon 4EVER.

Just watching v8 extra on 7 and Steve Owen is all but confirmed to line up with Craig Baird and those other 2 [jk] at HRT.

OK!....was there a fall out there or something? or just one of those things.[bc]

I think you will find that Steve Owen has had a fall out at most places he's been at, HRT may be able to put up with him for the enduros but DJR weren't going to.

Just checked out the first practice times for the Fujitsu series and Grant Denyer was 15th quickest, two and a half seconds off the pace. He only did six laps though....
I noticed there are only 19 cars, and a few 'big names' missing.
No Canto, no Owen etc.
Even with the influx of the ex Porsche steerers the Fujitsu series looks a bit weak this year...

Thanks for the update, they usually loose 19 cars over a race weekend in the Fujitsu's, be interesting to see how many are left running at the end on Sunday.

I know and understand that Denyer's been cleared to race but I hope he doesn't try "too" hard this weekend.
I would rather see him finish mid pack than get a podium and do himself some damage.
