We all should remember those infamous words spoken by Peter Williamson on racecam during the ?? Hardie Ferodo 1000 as he came across the top of the mountain in his 2 litre Toyota Celica.

Q.1. Which 2 'high profile' drivers piloted that very slow Volvo when this happened [?][?][?]

Q.2. What year did this occur [?][?][?]

David McKay/Spencer Martin 1979... it didn't do all that bad considering that it was a road-going (registered, even!) stocker... apparently someone's stimbled upon it lately too!

That's the one Henry. Old Willo gave it a serve on national TV didn't he. IIRC, he didn't think much of the Comaro's either

"Move, you big ugly thing! COME ON, MOVE!!"... :D hassled the Camaro all the way to the Elbow, and then missed a gear onto the straight IIRC...
