Francevic will always be known for winning the ATCC in 86 driving a Volvo or as DJ liked to call it a "Swedish Valiant".:D:D

Can anyone remember the other touring cars he has raced in Australia & what is his best finish at Bathurst[?][?]

1987 would be the best finish... still looking for his outright classification (he was 4th in class).

WIll also have some more info on his Bathurst starts shortly too.

He also drove with Andrew Bagnall in a Sierra.
Was his best finish 6th in 1987 with Ludwig "Goofy" Finauer? I know that their sister car finished 4th outright and 1st in Class that year, and that was driven by Jim Richards and Tony Longhurst.

I think it was sixth in 1987. We do know that Francevic was a likely podium contender in '88 in the Wolf Sierra, and could have won in '85 had things gone his way.

It definately was 6th in 87.

It's funny he'll always be remembered for his feats in a Volvo & rightly so, but he did plenty of Bathursts at the wheel of a Ford Sierra..
