Who's going to Oran Park?

i will be at Oran park, to cheer on DJR and bag the crap out of my GF who supports HRT.

That was my first year also & hoping to see Dick secure his 6th ATCC, but it wasn't to be with Richo in the GTR nearly lapping the whole field [V][V]if I remember correctly. I left OP that day a shattered man but continue to make the trek there every year & hope that one day we might see another DJR Victory on what is one of the best circuits the V8's race on.

Yes Rob 18, 1990 was pretty disappointing, but how about the DJR Sierra/Ute of 1991?!?!
Oran Park has not been a happy hunting ground for DJR, so I have not witness much success there. I saw JB take out the 'PJ Dash for Cash' in 1992 and cheered him to a Championship win in 1995, but last year was definitely the low-point for DJR at Oran Park. They qualified 26th and 29th and neither car finished as they both blew engines a lap apart.
I left Oran completely disillusioned last year, but it was after this meeting that things turned around for DJR. Lets hope it is again a pivotal round for the team, but for different reasons [8D]

Yeah Rob, it was the great Win Percy (definately one Holden driver I had a lot of admiration for) who shunted #17 if I remember correctly.
While DJR hasn't had much success there over recent years, up until last year, either has anyone else as HRT have dominated OP since 1996. I could be wrong, but I have trouble thinking of anyone else who have tasted victory there since the interception of the HRT domination there in 96. With the obvious exception of Marcos last year.
