Anyone notice in MN this week the 3 old DJ fords that ran at QR in the historic meeting on the 25th of july? The 78 Reverse Cobra XC in Bathurst guise of French & Brown, the 79 XC of DJ:) & one of the old Sierra's which I wonder if that is the one Dave Bowden owns?? They certainly looked bloody good especially those old XC coupes, 25 years on those 2 door fords look better every day. What a classic shape the XC was![8D][8D]

Those Cobra's have real pressence on the road in traffic alongside Lasers, Corrola's Commodore's Magna Avalons etc. They look like they're doing 100MPH at 25MPH! the Blue paint with twin white strips says in therms of style, says it all. Can't describe it really. Just too good!

Went and saw the Historics race at Willowbank.
Was the best day I've ever had at the races since Lakeside.
The Ford Group C cars were simply awesome.
I've been wanting to see these cars for over 3 years and finally made it! The ex-DJR cars (as were all the cars) were turned out in excellent condition. The only improvement for this class would be to get TRU-BLU and Greens tuf out there next year!!
When I last saw them at DJR, it broke my heart to see them doing nothing. Please Dick, get them out for a lap or two, and let me know when you do!!
