wouldnt it be great if DJR put a DJR HP 320 in the Procar Bathurst 24 hr, in DJR livery and with Dick Johnson, Steve Johnson, Warren Luff and Jose Fernandez driving. the DJR HP 320 could win the gt performance, a ts50 came tenth overall in 2002 bath 24hr so a djr with Luff, Johnson and fernandez would do pretty good. also ford could put road wheels, a passanger seat and a dashboard on a V8 supercar and call it a GTHO prototype and put that in.

Just do what the cheat's from Holden have done.Get a Falcon V8 supercar Whack a big block into it, say your going to put it into production and kick every one else's butt.
The better option would be to enter a prototype Ford GT (the one that look's like the original GT40)and kick butt's legally
Nah better still enter a proper GT40 and still beat every one with a nearly 40 year old car

Be worth seeing! Now they were a lovely car... I saw a test in an old (even at the time) Wheels or something about 20 years ago, driving a GT40. The journo said the old thing leaked fuel from every orifice (it streamed up the windscreen from the fillers), and the Webers farted and coughed and carried on... until 3500rpm, when it all got serious. A beautiful and potent car, even 40 years on... wish I hadn't missd the vid footage of KB at Willowbnk with David Bowden's example all tailed and squiggly :D

Henry Dave bought that car from England, it was painted in Gulf oil colour's when he got it, since then it has been repainted in it's original colour. That car is quite a sight on the race track, in the old day's that was the fastest way around a corner in them. On the power and sliding it around the corner. Not a bad little motor either 302 Windsor with 485hp how much fun would that be.

Ok guys, number 1 - Big Col are you in queensland cos if so lets meet so I can buy you a beer or ten - you are priceless. As for the 320 at the 24 hour, I agree 200%, and wouldnt it be great to see the open faced, red and yellow helmet back behind the wheel again. One thing better would be Channel Ten taking on the event and giving it the coverage it deserves.

Col, they say KB has run it at a few meets and that it's something to see wherever he appears. Sniffer was never one to worry about whether or not the tail was following the nose: I once read a great anecdote about him reverse-parking an EH under a motel at vlave-bounce point in reverse... straight between two concrete pillars, neat as you'd like. A very talented driver. As for the cars: David Bowden's collection sounds like a hoon's heaven. I saw the ex-Moffat Cortina both before and after its restoration: rare, bird and immaculately presented now... the GT-40 was originally delivered in green wasn't it? A very rare thing - supposedly DB's was ythe only genuine article in the country, but I have seen a shell going for paintwork... Bowden's, or someone else's (this was alsomst two years ago now).

Your right Henry the GT 40 is green and it is the only genuine one in the country. I have a video that i got from Chris Bowden with the GT 40 at QR it is quite a site.It was actually the footage that RPM used on C 10. On the same vid Craig Lowndes is giving the number 9 XYGTHO a thrash. That is another awesome car.Haven't seen the GT Cortina yet but by all report's it's a bit of artwork.I could be wrong here but i think it's only one of three in the world.Doug i'd love to have a beer with you and chew the fat regarding motorsport and DJR you should have my phone number by now. Any one interested in looking up some of the David Bowden collection just look up four on the floor.com

Have no idea Henry
it was only what channel 10 did for the RPM program so there isn't that much footage.

Col, you sound connected! I've just got to get myself to one of the Coke Mustang's public appearances... I was thinking that it was a surprise that David hasn't talked Ross Donnelly out of big Pete's other 'stang
