I would like to wish all at DJR the best of luck for this weekend at Queensland Raceway. Hopefully Junior and Luffy will have an incident free run and reward DJ, the team and supporters with a strong result.

Good luck guys [8D]

Ditto to that Rob, and after the 1st Practice for the V8's and Qualifying for the Konica's, its starting to look like the DJR dominance of old is coming back.[8D]

Yeah, saw that Mitch, and where the heck did Noske come from to settle into the top ten?? Kelly 1st place in the first Konica race with Jose' seventh, so thats encouraging.

...and once again I am left bitterly disappointed! 16th and 18th! Yes only a whisker awayy from the ten, but if DJR can't make the shootout at QR, what hope have they got for the rest of the season?!?!

Im bloody lost for words. 16th and 18th! After the first practice I thought the corner may of been turned. Oh well with a bit of luck a couple of top 10s arent out of the question. How bad is FPR?

The time has come Dick, it is painfully bloody obvious that something in DJR is not working.
We know it's a business these day's. That's why DJR have to make some hard decision's.For DJR to be financially viable it's time to get rid of the dead wood and if that's happen's to be Steven or whoever so be it!!!
Just get this once mighty team back where it belong's

Well my opinion and no disrespect to Warren Luff as he is still a rookie and i think he has the goods to make it but i dont think that DJR are in a position to have a rookie driver at the moment. I would keep Steve but DJR needs a development driver someone with alot of expieriencein setting the car up and someone that can can the best out of the car. To me its obvios that the car is better than were its being qualified as anyone can see by the practice times. A driver like John Bowe would have been awesome it would also help Steve alot.
John Bowe was in last Fridays Telegraph Mirror in sydney and he said that in hindsight he should not of left DJR. I totally agree with that.

Whilst I am also a little underdone on the qualifying, Tru Blu's comments about Luffy are a little harsh - he qualified 2 forward from Steve, and has consistently improved meeting by meeting this year. I just cannot wait for the race, cos I still reckon a good inner ten place for both is on the cards.

I would like to say well done to Steve. Also to Luffy for 15th. If Bowey hadn't off'd him, DJR would have been in a great position. Back in the Top 10 !! Well done to the DJR crew for the quick repairs. I wish my mechanic would change my diff that quick !!!

I don't know how Steven managed to move up a spot in the championship... but he did

I agree with this 'Development Driver' business... I've said it for a while...

Steve has got what it takes, and I don't think that there are many that would disagree with me, but he needs a class driver beside him, to learn from, and to make him push harder to keep his spot as the teams lead driver...

Warren is definitely a talent, but at the moment DJR don't want young talent... they need proven experience...

Mitchell thats exactly what i meant in my earlier post. In my opinion you are 100% correct. For a team with the history that DJR has and what us fans expect, to be offering congratulations for position 15th is a joke. And not to mention thats its our test track.

Dont get me wrong guys i really dont want to bag Warren Luff but i really do think he should still be in the Konica series and let him learn his trade there. Just like what the Jones brothers are doing with Andrew Jones

Steve is not the dead wood. He has shown some good pace, but mishaps always seem to come to him. Even with a car that was severely crippled by his father's former team team he was still keeping up with the lead drivers, even if he was 20 laps behind. The team should be commended for the outstanding work they did on the weekend to get Steve back in the top 10.

Warren is finally starting to show promise, too, after his Adelaide bingle.

Steve is the 4th best driver Ford has out there. He was the 3rd after Pukekohe.

There are 24 drivers behind him, drivers such as Glenn Seton (whom Steve would've beaten last year too if they hadn't had to drop the worst round score), Mark Skaife, & a host of other so-called "top" drivers. People say these drivers have proven themselves. The fact remains, though, that a time comes when you have to realise they may be "past" it. It's no good coming 1st, 2nd or 3rd oncve every so often & coming in the bottom 10 the rest of the time. You must be in the top 10 all the time. That's what the sponsors look at. Steve these year has been consistently hovering around the top 10, except when he's the innocent party in a bingle.
