Fantastic effort from young Owen Kelly to Back up after yesterdays effort and dehydration to win again on Saturday.
A star in the making there watch out Junior.
Can't forget Jose great performance with a 5th today, and with a fastest lap only half a second slower than Owen.
Now if the Shell boys can do the same thing.

JC, yes Owen is certainly a star in the making, and I think Jose' has impressed many onlookers who perhaps suggested he wouldn't make the grade this season. As for the Shel boys, they are certainly one step up, and any suggestion that Steven should be watching his back is met with scoffs and laughs by the purists, as he is now a seasoned campaigner, and already knows how to win in Australia's premier formula - read the news articles and you may see why.

Doug.
Sorry I havent replied earlier, work commitments.
My comments re: Junior although a wee bit toung in cheek has indeed stired up a little bit of emotion.
And fair enough.
But....
I have read, all the news articles and listend to plenty of purists and I must say I believe the jury is still out on Steven.
Question the must be asked:With the Konica team and junior devolpment is pressure mounting on the sholders of Steven ?
Not so much now but may be in the future ?
If Owen goes well (and its a big if) in the Konica car what about 2005: Another year in Konica or maybe DJR get's another franchise ?
Performance or the impression of performance is ther key.
Steven must perform, not win but perform, but I must say the team must perform as well.
I do support Steve and was as dissapointed as you when Steve got caught up in other people's accidents, but I do wonder when this son of a gun (and team) will fire again. Soon I hope.
I acknowledge it is very difficult for Steven. History is full of Sons who never quite matched there Fathers achievments (Kyle Petty) and sons that have (Dale Jr)
I do hope, yes I do...That Steven will be the other Jr.
You see I am a avid supporter have been for years both with my wallet and emontions and will be for as long as DJR or myself is around, But somtimes no matter how much you want it to happen fairytails dont come true.
