Eatern creek is only a stone throw away and lets hope to see the Stone brothers racing and the Dick Johnson Racing teams do well. Who do you think will win???[?]

Well, you'd hope Max's result at the end of last year would give DJR some sort of confidence going in to the race... It will be a very interesting round...

I just want to see some pace out of the FPR cars!!!

Spot on Henry 100%. DJR showed glimpses of pace at Adelaide & with how Max went at EC last year, I'm hoping 4 a good result from Steve & Luffy this weekend.

It'd be nice to know that all that money is being put to a good use, wouldnt it?

... money that used to be ours...

Qualifying will be the achilles heel, I think. If Steven can do a top ten, then he has the tenacity to challenge for a podium. Warren is still learning the craft so I think a top ten finish will be good for him. My tip as the dark horse : Bargwanna.

With any luck a podium might be on the card's.
Both car's seem to have good race pace but seem to lack in qualifying, Which is very important.
If they stay out of trouble and avoid other people's accident's as well as there own a podium is not out of the question.
Good luck DJR

Yeah Bigcol, #17 definately needs to qualify better but what was dissappoing at the 500 was he was 3rd fastest in final practice & only a touch slower than Marcos but when it comes to qualifying he got no where near his practice time. Seems to happen all the time though & it's bloody frustrating.

Have to agree with you Rob 18. I have been very critical of DJR for not supplying there drivers with competitive cars. But at the Clipsall i think that the drivers let the car down as the car showed a lot of pace in practice.

Well Guys, so far not a lot to sing about, as Warren is 27th and Steve is 28th after 1st practice. Not a lot to tell untill some feedback gets here from the team, so will be posting a Practice/qualifying feature tomorrow -hopefully the boys will climb the ladder a bit before then.

Just a matter of getting the head down... I'm sure they'll boith give their best - as will the whole team... and I'll be cheering them on win, lose or draw

Dreadful quailfying once again will hurt the team come the race.Luffy 21st Steven 27th should get to now Thecko pretty well soon.
Geez talk about making it frustrating for the loyal DJR fan's.
Come on Dick if they can't get the car's up there, get some one who can

Col, mate, I am sure DJ is in the same boat as the fans. He has poured his life into the sport, and the current slump is obviously hurting him in more ways than one. Look on the bright side, Luffy is on the way up, and has been ahead of SJ in all sessions, so if the worst happens, and Steve steps down at the end of the season, Luffy will be seasoned for the coming year and will head the team maybe?

Good effort from Luffy! 300 km is a fair way to go... there's still the chance of either (or both) cars working up to a creditable finish... but then you run the risk of getting involved in someone else's mistake (al a Adelaide)

Actually... good result from Junior in the wet warmup, with a time well within the top ten
