With Lowndes now out of the equation[V] & the other possibility in Tander, who looks to be staying on the red side:D:D out of it as well, just wondering what other peoples thoughts on the 2005 DJR line-up could now be. I still have the feeling there is going to be changes in the line-up next year but I'm not real sure which way the cards are going to fall. I'll make one pediction though & say Owen Kelly will be one of the drivers to partner, perhaps Johnson with Luff stepping back to Konica.

Rob 18, I think people are quick to criticise Warren Luff, but he was really thrown in the deep end this year. Don't forget that prior to Luffy's full-time drive with DJR, he had only competed in a handful of V8 Supercar races. If you compare him to Mark Winterbottom who competed in a full season of Konica last year, Warren is only 3 positions and 76 points adrift in the Championship standings. I believe this is pretty good considering his lack of miles in a V8 Supercar and the competetiveness of the series. Warren is a class act and has dominated pretty much every category he has been a part of. I hope he is given the chance to demonstrate his true capabilities. With Craig Lowndes now off the market, I hope DJR show their commitment to youth and allow Luffy to retain his seat. Maybe if DJR expand to 3 cars there will be an opportunity for Owen Kelly.

Not doubting Warren at all ROB17, I just feel there is a change around the corner for next year & I'm just wondering what other peoples thoughts on the matter are. But, saying that I'm very much looking foward to Sandown & Bathurst to see what Owen Kelly can do in the #18 Shell Ford as I see him doing the majority of the driving in that particular car during those 2 events & if he outshines #17, DJR will have choice but to find room for him next year in the main seies. At the expense of whom, I'm not so sure!
