well qualifying wasnt as good for the boys with Steve in 18th and Luffy in 23rd (I see car 17 got a penalty, obviously for kerb jumping, so i dont know if that made a difference to Juniors position)
Amborse fastest, followed by Mad Max,Simon Wills, Bowe, Ellery, Ingall, Murf, Bright, Tander, and Rick Kelly rounding out the top ten. Poor old Skaife only made 12th.
FPR must be pretty disapointed with their cars no where all day and finishing with 16th and 20th
Well Steve just dont get tangeled up in anything in the race, keep it clean.

There were a few surprises! Much has been made of the HRT qualifying result, but I think that they'll have worked pretty hard at getting their heads in the right place for a determined result today. Skaife looked awfully dejected last night though!

Good showings from the Betta Fords, Ellery, & JB, the SBR boys are still pretty much on the money, but I think there's more Holden competition this year... "Our" boys are probably a bit further down than they, (or we for that matter) would like, but there's still cars behind them and they're facinf the right direction - here's to a good result in race 1! can't wait 'til 1:00!
