From the Time AVSCO & TEGA started we have seen so many changes to our sport & for what reason to make it more entertaining?? I never seen it as boring ever, well until the term of freight train was used & that dirty Word ?Parity? how can you say we have Parity when they have not put the cars in a wind tunnel. They have changed the distance of races a few times & god forbid reverse bloody grid brought in control tyres compulsory Pit bloody stops (it?s a car race not a pit stop race) its sad when you hear Teams say they based the race on pit stops (& that other dislike of mine) Pace Car I know we have to have it but I some times wonder how many times its used to just bunch up drivers just to make it look better on TV all bunched for a restart & yet another freight train finish if they make it clean through the first corner. They now have listen to the Media. & have been told our sport is Boring & is not News Worthy so they have allowed the Drivers to have their say again (not before time)
So if you had a say what would your changes be???
Just some I thought about. Starters put the cars in a wind tunnel other then that leave the cars alone don?t change the H paten box. Let teams choose whatever tyres brakes springs & shocks they wish. They have played with race formats, distances leave the practice on Fri, Sat qualifying stay Just bring back the Shoot Out. Sunday Double the distance, have a pit stop just no window having to take on fuel, tyres if needed not in the same stop but.
Pace Car did I mention I don?t like it! (I know we need it at times) The timing should be the same as used in Moto GP if & when they use it at the time of a pace car if a car is 10 seconds behind the lead car that is what he has to lap that car by to win. So easy with computers today.
Racing Rules toss MOST of them out they have caused so many gray areas its car racing cause there will be accidents its not in their interest to have one any thing that?s deliberate sure

I agree. Friday practice, Saturday qualifying & shootout. No more two or three race format. Sunday: 1 race only for the full amount of kms.
At this stage, I'm not against the idea of seeing other manufactures getting involved, although I'm sure I'd be in the minority.

Engines to be based on the ones that come with the car - modify and strengthen them as the teams see fit but limit output to an equal amount. Bring back the H pattern but run a box and diff that wont snap like carrots when you drop the clutch.
Pit stops as the teams see fit - no mandatory stops or pit windows. Unlimited rubber - unlimited fuel and practise all you want or can afford.

One race on the Sunday only? No way! We dont get to see enough racing as it is now. Get 'em out every 1 to 2 week-ends.

Keep it Ford v Holden - although I'd love to see those big lumbering buckets of pus 300C, run with a Ford or Holden V8 supercar. Of course Chrysler power is good but but I reckon she'd corner just like, .............like the big luxo barge it was made to be.

One meeting every 2 weeks would be the first thing I would change. ATM the races are not spread out consistently and not many people know when the next race is. I think by having more consistency it would open the sport up to more mainstream media and the people that read/watch it.

If they had practice on friday and maybe opened the gates for free, Qualifying and support races Saturday and the main event on Sunday, they could probably fit in a round every fortnight without any worries.

The three race format makes it tricky because thar is too much opportunity to have damage and temporarily repair it to try and keep in the round. This would make more rounds available to all those places that miss out.

I'm not sure I agree about the unlimited tyres and unlimited testing, a certain team (teams) would in all likelyhood have several cars going round the clock if that was going on.

Ban 4 or more car teams and absolutely no interchanging of staff and the like. Meaning no TWPG. Engines suppliers are fine as is componetry suppliers.
Less downforce, less horsepower. If the utes can get parity pretty close with the Gen3 and the Boss engine i'm sure VESA could get it close as well
Leave the current diff and gearbox , with less HP they'd get a season out of them that way.
Break any of the rules regarding team ownership and anything else and your out.

How about enforcing the rules that we already have? Or maybe EVENLY enforcing them would be a more appropriate way of putting it!
