Great to hear Steve will be doing the full Touring Car Masters season. I understand some rule changes have taken place that helps the weight of 6 litre powered cars.
This will create a very intense battle between car 17 and car 18, 18 being a Torana and 17 being a proven weapon in Mustang Sally,

This is great for Steve, he should be a sought after co driver for the enduro's but unfortunately has to compete for seats against young guys carrying bags full of their daddys cash. Talent and experience come second and third against cash

As Paul Morris has said in the past, Steve will provide a master class for others to learn from when he gets behind the wheel of Sally

Yes Sally was bought by someone else, however a deal has been done for Steve to race it........not own it.
A bit like the deal Bowe has with his Torana

Looks like Mustang Sally is set to go , and a new livery will soon be revealed. this is the Steve Johnson ride for the touring car masters. I'm already a big fan of the series, This will make it even better for me.

This looks set to be the new team's logo , Dick will retain his interest in DJRTP, and Roger knows how important the legend's name is on the teams banner, This is a new venture for Dick and Steve and in the future possibly Jet, to get on board with.

Looking forward to this, sure the ship may have sailed on the supercar series, but good to see a Johnson out there behind the wheel of a Ford wearing #17. Too bad an XD doesn't meet the eligibility rules though [bw]

Race was one of their exhibition races top 45% of grid was reversed. 25 points for starting, 25 points for finishing no matter where you end up. JB had a gearbox failure in the opening laps.
