Pathetic and dangerous threat from Gizbergen against Fabian

I reckon people at home, those who do not real get ,. . racing, . will be at some time or another wishing their for favoured driver to extract revenge for a percieved or real wrong or mistake by another, and i think we all get that and eye for an eye just will end up with everyone blind, . then there's this idiot.[jk]


Officials have slapped van Gisbergen with a two place grid penalty, dropping the #97 Commodore he is sharing with Matt Campbell from 19th to 21st on the grid.
“It is a weird one, being penalised for practice,” said van Gisbergen.
“It was a silly incident, Fabian was going so slow, wrecked his lap and I ended up running up the back of it.
“If that is how it is going to be in practice for the rest of the year, I will get in his way every time.”
“I think it is fair to say we like to be humble in victory and gallant in defeat, perhaps our friends up the pointy end of pit road take a different view on things but I suppose that is how it goes and we will press on,” said Shell V-Power’s Ryan Story.
“I think it was clear not only to the stewards who saw reason and common sense in that response but certainly most of the punters and fans at home, they probably took the same view of it.”


Jizzburgler can't really accept that HE went in too hot and it was HIS fault even though everyone else see's it that way, and now crying about being the victim of the fast guys at the pointy end is all he's got left, . .what a sour puss. . .

While I'm on the rant, . . .
how the penalty consistent, with a 2 grid penalty for an incident in a practice session but, for almost writing off another car is just a $15,000 fine half of that suspended, . .

Webb was being aggressive in trying to gain a spot by holding the other car out wide, quite deliberately, but his over cooking it and locking up caused a really serious accident simply by not driving with due care, . . most drivers might have tried the same tactic to gain that spot but Webb was going to hit one or the other of those two cars and the penalty doesn't seem to be consistent compared with a bump and run in a practice session to me.

Good result for the team, what made the weekend was the tyre blow out on 88.
Looking forward to the next race, been a while since we have been in with a real shot of winning the big one.

So, on the SVg saga goes now grumbling that his championship hopes are over, . .



But, . . .was I the ONLY one who saw SVG, rears spin a bit as he went up on jacks in the pit stop? .. just sayin.


Anyway, . .awesome driving from Scott and Alex premat, . .very mature and although pushing on in the last couple of laps , not binning it to try to win at any cost. . . well done Team, great weeked. [y][y]
