If it's something simple like an oil line or a power steering-belt they tend to let you know. Me thinks that it was something a little more terminal...

Good to see Sooky La La Tander getting served by everyone. He was blocking Fabian and Caruso at the start when they were on the faster tyres and got what he deserved in the end. Fabian should have waited for the next corner though............Oops!

I think Tander has taken over the targeted driver role that Skaife used to have.
Everyone just likes to hit him because they just can.

Great race was nice to see some action involving tander getting shafted at every possible moment. He was in today?s paper crying about the race, oh well boo who. Ford 1, 2, 3 again this is great.

Steve should have a great race today seeing he saved the fast soft tyres. Triple 8 certainly have such a hold on the races so far. I think it?s going to take a triple 8 built car to beat them. Come on Steve.

Bad luck with Courtney's car hopefully they have fixed the problem it had yesterday and he can qualify well this morning.

As the title of one of my favourite songs(because of the title)says "you always get what you give" certainly applies to the tall streak of pelican shit.

As Lee Holdsworth said he needs to take a look at his own driving first, i reckon he thinks just because he drives for HRT everyone should move out of the way and let him through.

Courtney 10th and Johnson 18th for Sundays race. Yes Stevie didn't use his sprint tyres yesterday nor did Rick Kelly and Paul Dumbrell. They are both well and truly into the Top 10.

Pretty disappointing weekend, what were they thinking leaving Steve out there when the safety car came out. Another round were strategy seems to have cost Junior. At least James had a consistent weekend.

Pulling that sort of strategy you are always going to be on a road to nowhere!
..and why?
So they could say they led some laps or what?

How the hell did tander get off touching Courtney in the pits without a black flag or something being said? I know the triple 8 major stuff up was in a way related but come on the pits are a major no no. Also that bonnet was not secure I don?t care what old Campbell little thinks, again if that were another driver black flag straight away. HRT are pulling someone?s strings.

That better, on another note great to see ford at the front again. Courtney did well all day till his tyres dropped off right at the end. He has a leased bagged some good points. Poor old Steve really lost out when his fast rubber ran out. However good signs for the next round a Tassie which will be great, it?s going to be bloody cold which is going to mix things up again.

Does anyone else have a sore throat from screaming PIT PIT PIT at the TV!

The team had a great opportunity to move Steve into 2nd in the Championship today and dropped the ball.

They had made the gain they were looking for with the soft tyre when Steve moved from 18th to 5th, Holdsworth was parked, and he had track position over Dill. To top it off, the stuff up in the 888 garage saw Whincup slip way down the order which would have allowed us to claw back some points on the leader. 13 positions. How much more gain were they hoping for? That?s without being able to pass Whincup and Winterbottom in the pits to effectively move into 3rd after the stops. I don?t believe that Steve had the pace today to stay with the lead, but all he had to do was stay a couple of spots in front of Dill to move into 2nd for the Championship.

I know it must be difficult to make the right decision in the heat of the moment, but to me it was an obvious and basic calculation. A pit stop takes about 55sec, Steve had about 10 - 12 laps left in his tyres, so unless your going to get about a 5sec/lap gain by staying out, you pit and say thanks for the 13 positions. I?m sure I wasn?t the only one that screamed PIT the second they saw the images of Holdsworth parked.

I love my team, but sorry, today you dropped the ball.[hb]

Congrats to James on a good race and to Steve for moving into 3rd in the Championship.

That is the differnce between 888 and DJR this year, 888 have the right calls in the heat of the moment and DJR do not.

Steve got past 14 cars on the sticky rubber, and that's why he ran out of stick so quickly, there weren't too many blue flags out there for the quicker car and some of them were blocking in a big way.

I'm also amazed that once again we see HRT not getting a penalty, when Courtney slowed to go by Whincup in the pits, Tander just went out beside him instead of joining the que and virtually forced him to go behind to get out of the pit lane.

several other pit lane incidents went by too, Frosty bumping one of Lowndes tyres out of the way, one of Frosty's blokes walking out in front of Whincup to slow him getting into the pit area,

and don't even get me started on yesterdays events, Tander drove like a complete idiot and there was only one worse driver out there the whole weekend and that was jack Perkins, what a fool!
