hey yap whats the jim beam honey one like.

1:18, no opening parts and bugger all detail underneath. Very disappointing compared to the Classic and Biante standard that we are all used to. Compared to the other brands they are also way overpriced for what you get.

They look good in the cabinet DJR, but I do agree with Jason, compared to a Biante and CC car from a couple of years ago they are rubbish, underneath detail is a fraction better than a matchbox car. I can handle the no opening parts as I have all my cars side by side in a cabinet, and there is no room for open doors.

To keep my collection going I had to get them, at least this years ones will be more realistically priced at $150, and diecast again

Think i'm going to need a new model car cabinet. I've out grown the one I have now with my 65+ 1:18's and that's JUST the DJR cars.
Also there are about 7 or 8 from memory from last year. [B)][B)]

Looks like Biante already made the announcement.

DJRTeam Penske Announce Partnership with Biante Model Cars

DJR Team Penske has announced a partnership with Biante Model Cars to producedie-cast model cars in various scales for the 2016 season. This partnershipre-unites Biante with the iconic Ford V8 Supercar team and will furthercompliment an existing program of producing historic models that fit within theBiante Dick Johnson Collection.

Development on the 1:18 scale DJR Team Penske Ford Falcon FGX V8 Supercar is underway and will be produced in die-cast alloy with fully opening parts, other than the boot. This has been a feature of the current Biante Next Generation V8Supercar models. The DJR Team Penske Falcon FG X will be seen in a number of livery designs as well as a full range of scales from the 1:18 range through to1:43 and 1:64 sizes.

DJR Team Penske Managing Director Ryan Story said, “Biante has set the standard in die-cast models in Australia over many years. We are very pleased to be rebuilding our partnership with Biante and look forward to seeing our 2016 range of liveries for Scott Pye and Fabian Coulthard’s Falcons represented in this range.”

General Manager of Biante Model Cars, William Hall, is excited to bring a Ford V8 Supercar back into the Biante range for collectors; “We are honoured to be working with DJR Team Penske as their model car supplier for the 2016 season. Not only does it re-join the Biante / Dick Johnson connection for the V8Supercar range, but it also presents a great opportunity for us to bring acurrent Ford model into back into our product range which is something we wanted for Ford fans. Ironically our last V8 Supercar championship winning car we produced was for DJR when James Courtney won the 2010 title in his FG, so hopefully it’s the start of something special.”

Full details of the range will be made available later in 2016.
