With a few things falling into place at DJR i can see them being a championship contender when the FG comes online.

- Jim Beam for another 3 years.:D
- 888 Chassis components are a class above.
- SJ and Will wanting to be DJR's no 1.:D
- Wind tunnel testing in the UK, Im sure DJR will be one of the first Ford teams to test the FG.
- Adrian Burgess bringing his F1 expertise and contacts.:D

these are the reasons i see them being a threat in the near future, Whats everyones thoughts??

Yeah have to agree, its great our team are now competitive after so many years of just making up the numbers. The JBR cars got good exposure on TV yesterday which is another plus for the team.

They just lacked a little pace at the back end of yesterdays race but a least they have a solid base to build on for a change.

OK so this is some big goss, and 100% rumour right. . . . . 888 maybe relocating their facility but not near DJR could be northside (eewwwee!) anyway that could mean that DJR could make a huge benefit, can't say too much but the main thing the JBR cars are lacking is drive out of corners and the 88 move could supply a solution for that.

Yes it was confirmed by Kelly Johnson to me, it wasn't the cars that went overseas it was only one chassis.

Not sure what you are getting at. T888 are already based on the nothside of Brisbane, they are not on the Gold Coast like DJR, SBR, & PMM.

I have been told this weekend that DJR are the ones in trouble. DJ doesn't own the building and no money left in the kitty either.

Hope it's not true, DJR showed good pace this weekend before the officials ruined it for them:(

I have spoken at length with Kelly Johnson regarding this and DJR are in the best shape financially they have been for years. Jim Beam have upped the sponsorship of the team until 2011 and the dollars they have given DJR rival that of Jack Daniels. Dick has also sold half the team to Charlie Schwerkolt which has well and truly covered any outstanding debts Dick had.

T8 are rumoured to be moving further north as they have run out of space at their current location.

I hope your right, i know this is what we have been told through media releases. But what i was told was that a major aussie trucking company has been told not to do pickups from DJR as they can't pay the bill and are in receivership.

Sorry BB bit hard to believe that one after all the reports about the forklift man buying into and also the amount of dollars Jim Beam have given them.

This hasn't come from the hairdresser fags in the powder room at 0/10's has it.
Those deadshits like starting bullshit rumours about DJR.
The only one they've been close on was the demise of Westpoint and that was all around the financial sector well before it became public knowledge

I'm can they could be in trouble?? Dick just sold 50% of this business.. That has got to be worth a fair few millions, which should have covered passed debit. And JB as been on the cars for a while now, which shold be covering current debit..

That bloke should be a little more careful what he says. I am sure Dick, Charlie and everyone at DJR would love to know who was spreading that sort of rumour. That sort of thing can be very damaging to a business and needs to be treated very, very carefully. I won't be doing anything to perpetuate it, thats for sure.

From what i understand, DJR prior to the Charlie intervention were in trouble with some suppliers and the new arrangement is a new company. So any debts previously may still be out there. DJR and the new entitiy are planning to pay the people over time. But there are some suppliers that are not happy that they may be left in the cold. Lets hope not.

Dick, being the sort of bloke that he has displayed he is over a long period of time, I am sure will not let anyone go unpaid. He has never done it before so why do it now?
