The TAFE students did a great job on that car, I remember seeing in on the back of the Tilt Tray at Reid Park and it was one bent chassis. I'd like to see it painted in the original livery, Thanks for the link timmy.

Good on ya Timmy and what awsome raceing from Jb & Lowndes with Jb on top in that one. When you look back at what could have been and what might have been, Talking about the tyre thing here. Old mate Dick has just missed out quite a few times over the years.

By my reckoning, there were probably 5 Bathurst Crown's that went begging for DJ...
1985 - a split oil cooler and a loose wheel nut costing DJ & LP dearly
1988 - untouchable all year and 3 cars at the Mountain only to finish 2nd in car 18
1990 - a wrong move onto intermediates and the seat sticking so DJ couldn't jump into car 18
1992 - beaten by a GTR that was sitting in the wall with no wheels
1995 - JB punted by the speed hump
Imagine an 8 time Bathurst Champ?!?!

They certainly were the ones that got away.

95 still pisses me off. Getting taken out by one of your own just sucks.

Still can't really say i'm much of a Seton fan anyway.

Seton fans are like HRT fans. They're a precious bunch

[iag] Another 1 Rob17 I think was ours & was taken away by Paul Morris driving down the middle of conrod when Sj was on a real charge.

Agree, but still not convinced DJ would have had the pace in the final stint with his head about to explode in his helmet...

Hey guys, somewhere I have a photo of that car from the Adelaide GP races of '92. I think DJ drove it, while JB used the Sierra.
