Been going through some photo albums and came across these photos of Dick at Oran Park. Some sre from 1982 and some from 84. There are also some shots of his competitors. I hope these are OK. You may have to blow them up to get a good shot. I have a few of the Mustang also which i will post later.

Cheers

Nice pics! One of the best spectator circuits I have been to now gone [bgn], I could not beleive the amount of the track you could see from the hill on my first time there in '07.
Now we have to put up with this Homebush crap.

OP was a great track, probably the best viewing track in the country. Most people who went there for the first time were quite suprised by how undulating it was. It was a great track. Amaroo was another great viewing track. Standing on top of Bitupave hill in the early days & you could see most of the track. I remember watching the Sierra's there in the late 80's & geez, they were a handful around there.

Great photo's & great memories!

Here are some more photos, for some reason they all didn't load.

Oran park was definitely a great place to watch racing. First time I went was 1977 and watched Moffat win. Wish I had a camera then.

Might be just that more pictures at a time is too big a file for that kind of attachment,

You're doing pretty well, and putting them in a few at a time is bumping up your post count too . . . . . :D

Times sure have changed , back then I never had a camera either, . . now every phone has one,. . . .all that history lost,
