Honey I'm home

Thanks for all the well wishes.

Had a top time time.
Got some lovely mud crabs, which by the way was a bit nerve wracking when your throwing the pots off a bank with a 3m croc watching your every move. Mind you we had 2 friends with us. Smith and Wesson. So he would have got pumped full of lead if he tried anything.
Never caught a barra but we got some good GT's (Golden Trevally) off the jetty at Siesia.
Missed the V8's (Go Lowndesy) but managed to watch the Origin at Loyalty Beach Fishing Lodge. Gee i thought i was pariochial. Those North Queenslanders really go off. Should use Messrs Smith and Wesson on the video ref.
Went to Thursday Island and Horn Islnd. Don't feel bad there was a Friday and Wednesday island as well.
Absolutely wonderful place. If they had a round of the V8's , i'd move there.
Too much to go on with here , but it was the bestest holiday i have had.
All up towing a camper trailer we used $1500 worth of fuel , travelled over 6000km , drank a carton of XXXX Gold between the mate and myself every night and had an absolute great time.

If you ever get a chance to go to Cape York , DO IT.
The sights are breathe taking the people friendly (unless you're from NSW on origin night) and the history unbelievable
