Never said anything about being a bunch of losers. I will always support DJR passionately and that is why Sunday hurt so much :cool:

here's one for you all which took a bit of research whilst sitting on the crapper.

Who was the first driver to ever a lead a lap of the Bathurst race (Armstrong, Hardie Ferodo, James Hardie etc) in a car powered by an 8 cylinder engine?

That would be Warren Weldon in the 1963 Armstrong 500 (ie. the 1st Bathurst 500) in a V8 Studebaker.

What about the Geoghegans' Daimler SP250 in the 1962 Bathurst 6-Hour? :D

Just kidding, but the race WAS intended as a dress rehearsal for the Armstrong the following year...
