    Great job #18

When you consider how old that thing is, to finish 5th overall & ahead of both 888 cars is a tremendous effort. Will is on top of his game at the moment & considering he got roughed up again by the 88, it was a bloody good effort to bring home the 18 in a strong 5th place. Well done DJR...

    Ambrose 2nd in mexico

Great drive Marcos & even better considering he started last on the grid. Just ran out of laps but got to within a second of the eventual winner Kyle Busch. Well done Marcos....

    Numbers on windows

Slowly coming to grips with the 2008 cars running their #'s on their rear window but........Can anyone remeber when a certain Allan Moffat ran with a full size # on the rear window of one of his cars?? Not to confuse anybody, he also had the numbers on the doors as per usual also & ran the...

    Toyota 1-2 in Sprint Cup

That's right folks, kurt Busch & Tony Stewart led home a Toyota 1-2 finish in NASCAR's premier devision to finally break the local manufacturers domination of the series. It's been coming for a while though & were probably unlucky not to win at Daytona. Now if I could only now go down to my...

    The big 3

Back in the late 60's the 3 big teams fighting for Bathurst supremecy were the Ford Factory team, the Valiant Factory team & the Holden Dealer Team who weren't actually a factory team but were funded 'allegedly';) by Holden Dealers Australia wide. Now my question is.... Who were the 3 Team...

    Window nets

Geez, haven't done this for a while so bear with me.... For a long time now V8's have ran with window nets in their drivers door & it's almost mandatory in every type of racing around the world now days in 2008. Can anyone remember which team first ran a car with a window net in the ATCC/V8sc...

Auto Action's feature on the EB Falcon.

Anyone read the 2 page feature on the EB???? Pretty good read & a bit of a refresher on it's illustrious history. Talks about their history, what they achieved & where they are now in particular the DJR & GSR EB's. Funnily enough there's not much left of any of them with at least 3 djr EB...

Casey Stoner wins Moto GP in Qatar

How good is this kid from the Hunter vally in NSW!! Casey started from P2 & quickly took the lead & went on to beat Rossi by 2 odd seconds. That Ducati has some stick in a straight line which should make for an interesting year ahead..

    Marcos 10th in Las Vegas

Kangaroo Meat is on fire!! Another result inside the 10 has Ambrose now sitting 5th in the Busch Series standings & leader of the Rookie of the year standings after todays result in Las Vegas. In what was a crazy race where they broke the record of pace car incidents, Marcos just kept plugging...

    Ambrose 8th in Mexico

Marcos finished 8th this morning in round 3 of the Busch Series in Mexico. He was running comfortably inside the 10 all race & had moved up to 5th with about 15 laps to go, but got shunted by the #1 car & fell back as far as 25th but recovered to 8th by the chequer in what was an awesome drive...

Win on sunday, sell on monday????

After Ford won it's First Bathurst this century in October, Ford has managed to move the least amount of Falcons in a month since the BA?BF was introduced in 2002. Commodore predictably sold the most with the new VE & the Corolla coming in second ahead of the 4 pot Camry with the BF 4th. Even...
